Canon 5DMARKII
50mm lens

trying to get back in the swing of digital.
it feels like i'm starting over.
months without a digital makes you see things differently.
that picture that would've looked epic in film, almost looks like
a snapshot as digital.

Digital Proof of the Present ( Red Lips )

Thank you to my models and friends: Christie Severin and Julie Cox for letting me boss you around so that I could enjoy my new camera. True friends, right here. Driving home from work I decided to take a different route and found a grassy hill and one with small purple flowers. They looked ideal for a spring photo shoot with a new camera plus two best friends. I loved the results, I hope you do as well.

I finally acquired a working digital SLR. I've had two and they both failed me simultaneously. Thus my saving began and yet my spending on 35mm began, but I did it. All these photographs are shot with a Canon 5DMarkii that I am in love with. If you know about this camera, then you know why I love it. Though, I will definitely keep up with the 35mm. So maybe soon will be a variety of both. For now, let the digital obsession and the Canon learning process begin. I am no longer a Nikon shooter, but a full on Canon shooter. Film & Digital.

Kassie Lane Events

Canon AE-1. 35mm. 50mm lens.
My sister is an event planner. She trusted me enough to shoot some pictures for her in film.
I will be shooting some of the events she is planning for 2011. Excited!
